I’m a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and the owner and creator of Spendlove Coaching.
My own wellness journey led me to getting my Master’s Degree in Health and Wellness Coaching from Creighton University – Go Blujays!
During my Master’s program I realized that my obsession with tracking, weight and doing everything “right” was escalating and I knew something had to change. I couldn’t coach clients as I struggled with my own disordered eating.
Diving headfirst into Intuitive Eating, I discovered that the best approach isn’t a diet after all. The best approach is healing your relationship with food and your body, embracing the body you have right now and setting goals to incorporate health promoting behaviors into your life, while putting weight loss on the back burner.
I help my clients discover that they are the experts of themselves. Using the tools learned inside my program and during coaching sessions, clients learn how to shift their mindset, taking back the power they have lost to dieting and diet culture.
